Peschaud deploys passenger experience aboard its vessels with Moment

Moment, the trusted partner of maritime operators for next-gen digital entertainment, e-commerce and connectivity solutions, has been selected by Peschaud International, a maritime logistics company, to develop its onboard entertainment experience. The collaboration will lead to Moment’s implementation of its MOOD solution aboard a first boat, the Maria Galanta. This passenger ship will be equipped with a tailor-made content package and an e-service platform. Other boats, including crew boats, will be equipped in a second step.

With over 60 years of experience in extreme and sensitive environments, Peschaud International has built a reputation of excellence with its multi-modal logistics services on difficult and remote terrain – land, river, lake, lagoon and sea – and for its bespoke services dedicated to Oil & Gas companies. All-inclusive operations require rigor, responsiveness and efficiency to achieve the results that their clients demand and the Group aims to mobilise and bring together its technical and operational teams.

While the group’s objective is to extend its impact, particularly in Africa where it operates in countries like Gabon, Tchad or Mozambique, the success of its ambitious projects relies on the teams’ efficiency and commitment. The shipping company has chosen Moment to provide an entertainment package to ease travelling time and contribute to the well-being and comfort onboard the Maria Galanta, a public transportation boat that operates between Libreville and Port-Gentil in Gabon. In a second step, Moment will equip offshore crew boats, to improve onboard working environment.

Moment provides MOOD, an innovative onboard service with a complete catalog of content for use at sea. From their own mobile devices, passengers and employees will have access to a digital portal, allowing them to access entertainment programs (including 30 films, 5 documentaries and 10 series) in just a few clicks, as well as to consult the menu offered on board. Thanks to digital signage technology, communication to passengers is simplified and instantaneous.
